Hi, I’m Olivia—welcome to my corner of the internet! I created this space to share my love for all things creative and inspiring. I find joy in the little things and love exploring my interests in art, crafts, video games, and music. I’m 28 years old, and I live in California with my boyfriend and our two cats, Meatball and Guts!

I miss the days of the internet when creativity thrived in personal websites and social media profiles, allowing users to fully customize every aspect of their online presence. Today, I find many modern platforms to be homogenous and uninspiring. I’ve also grown increasingly concerned with the corporate interests shaping social media, as policies often don't align with my beliefs. Since I spend a lot of time online, I want to stay connected with the people and topics I care about while also taking back some of the power to create my own space to distance myself from addictive apps.

I’m having a lot of fun learning how to code—it takes me back to my younger days when I spent hours customizing my Tumblr profile. I still have a lot to learn and I'm definitely not perfect at coding, but I’m excited about the journey. I believe the internet should be for everyone, and accessibility is key. I’m committed to learning more about web design accessibility and will continue to optimize my site to ensure it's welcoming and enjoyable for anyone who wants to be here.

As for the name of my website, "Bliss Pilled" is an ironic take on internet slang terms like "Red Pilled," which often carry negative, oppressive meanings related to misogyny, racism, and white male supremacy. I do not align myself with these beliefs, and instead, I chose to create a more positive, uplifting version that encourages moving away from hatred, fear-mongering, and oppression. My intention is to divest from negative internet culture and instead promote joy, creativity, diversity, inclusion, freedom of thought, and bodily autonomy from a trans-feminist lense. I deeply care about addressing systemic inequalities and empowering marginalized communities.
